Various Paintball Game Types

If you think that paintball is always about shooting and eliminating enemies, well, actually, you have just thought about the basic of the game. You should know that there are so many variations of the game that can be played. Indeed, each of the game needs you to shoot. However, the rules can vary based on the type of the game which is being played. The first type of the game is called capture the flag. The basic is to split the players into two teams and each team has a home base where there is flag waving. The objective of both teams is to capture the flag of the home base at all cost. It can be about eliminating all of the enemies so you can capture the flag freely or you can try to infiltrate in the home base and capture the flag without getting known.

The second type is called protect the home base. Similar to the previous type, the players will be divided into two teams. One team is the defender while the other is the assaulter. The objective of the defender is to defend the fortress by eliminating the assaulter while the assaulter needs to defeat all of the defender to take over the fortress. This kind of game is suitable for those who like rather tactical paintball game. The third type of the game is called the ambassador. There will be one player who needs to become the ambassador to carry something from one side of the field to the other. The rest players will be divided into the team to protect the ambassador and the team who needs to make sure that the ambassador can never make his way to reach the other side of the field. Normally, the chosen ambassador is the player who has great agility. In some cases, the ambassador is also allowed to carry a gun to protect him. 

Another type of the game that you should also know is called the last man standing. Perhaps, this is the most brutal type of paintball game. All players are playing on their own selves. There is no team. Each player needs to deal with the efforts to make sure that they can survive the game by killing the other players, hiding, or the other possible tactics. Bullets will surely be shot from all direction. It will definitely rush the adrenaline.
